TexTuff QuickBooks Integration Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TexTuff Enterprises LLC (“TexTuff”) handles data through the TexTuff QuickBooks Integration (the “App”). The App is a private, internal-only tool. Its only user is TexTuff, which uses it to connect its own QuickBooks Online company to TexTuff’s owner and his AI business assistant through Intuit’s official QuickBooks Online MCP server and OAuth 2.0.

1. Data We Access

With your authorization, the App accesses TexTuff’s QuickBooks Online accounting data, such as customers, vendors, invoices, bills, payments and other transactions, the chart of accounts, and financial reports. It also handles the OAuth access and refresh tokens Intuit issues to connect the App.

2. How We Use Data

Data is used only for TexTuff’s own bookkeeping, reporting, and business analysis. Changes to QuickBooks data are made only with the owner’s approval. Data is not used for advertising or any other purpose.

3. Sharing

TexTuff does not sell, rent, or trade any data. Data is shared only with service providers needed to run the App: Intuit, which provides QuickBooks Online and the MCP server, and the AI assistant platform that processes the data on TexTuff’s behalf. We may also disclose data if required by law.

4. Storage and Security

OAuth tokens are stored securely and are not shared publicly. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Access to the App and its data is limited to TexTuff’s owner. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the data.

5. Retention and Deletion

The App keeps data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Disconnecting the App in QuickBooks Online (Settings > Apps) or revoking its tokens immediately ends its access. TexTuff will delete stored tokens and any App-held copies of QuickBooks data on request. Data inside QuickBooks Online itself remains under Intuit’s control and policies.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is a business tool. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect any data from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
